I am against the proposed land transfer. Wasaga beach provincial park is important habitat for endangered piping plovers and was protected for a reason. The proposed transfer also puts public access at risk to the resource. Read more

There is a backlash against overtourism. we should NOT prioritize tourism development over protection of rare landscapes. please maintain provincial park lands at Wasaga Beach. Only the rich get to enjoy high end tourist resorts. All Ontarians can enjoy park lands. Read more

I do not agree with the proposal to transfer any public lands in Provincial Parks to any townships or cities. I do not agree with any changes to remove any lands protected by the Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves Act. Read more

I am deeply concerned about the proposed changes at Wasaga Beach. For the past several years I have watched, from a safe distance, the protected area as the piping plovers nest. It is heartbreaking that the nests failed this year and will likely have no chance in the future. Read more
