Parks lands must be protected. If not for protection, what is the point of making the land a provincial park? Provincial parks allow for response, sustainable use of delicate ecosystems. This is of the upmost importance given then current climate catastrophe. Read more

It’s hard not to feel hopeless watching Ontario keep dismantling the protections that are supposed to safeguard our future. We’ve already seen endangered species laws gutted this year, and now Wasaga Beach Provincial Park is being carved up. Read more

Hello. I do not feel or support any of the Parks land in the town of Wasaga Beach, ont, that the Ontario Government owns be sold or transferred to the town! Most of this land is protected wildlife, plus ecological,such as the natural beauty and sand dunes of the area. Read more

This proposal does not consider wildlife management and conservation strategies that exist in the park right now and would lose all of their progress with the proposed changes. Piping Plovers were nearly eradicated from Ontario and the habitat they require is rare. Read more

Enough already. Can Doug Ford stop selling precious government property for commercialization?!? Ontarians want to enjoy places like Ontario Place and Wasaga Beach Procincial Park without having to pay. We want to have it be natural habitat and coexist with nature. Read more
