This amendment is going to severely harm Piping Plover habitat and should be reconsidered. This is the largest and most productive nesting spot in the province for them! It would be a huge shame and a terrible example to destroy that.
This is another developer driven selloff of our precious public natural areas. We must, for current and future generations, preserve, enhance and expand our natural public spaces.

As a young person who grew up in Ontario, I feel betrayed by the proposed sale of parts of Wasaga Beach Provincial Park. Ontario Parks are our heritage that needs to be protected. I am strongly against this proposal.
Stop the sell-off at Wasaga Beach. Wasaga Beach Provincial Park is public land that belongs to all of us. I am deeply concerned about the proposal to sell it.
I reject the notion that the responsibility of Wasaga Beach should be transferred from MECP to MTCG entirely. The importance of the biodiversity and animals that rely entirely on Wasaga Beach for survival should not be understated.
