To the best of my knowledge, there has been no communication (written, meetings) with the community about this proposal. Surely, there must be a requirement for communication, particularly if the Approval includes the addition of new or previously unapproved sources of emissions. Lire davantage

This just seems soooo wrong! Why is a country like Canada lagging so far behind countries like Germany in reducing sulphur and nitrogen emissions? 10 more years of Ash Grove Cement emissions beyond acceptable levels should not be happening. Let's take better care of our environment!

On the Ash Grove site specific standard, I am against the allowance of a 10 year implementation period. I am concerned that in another 10 years or less the standards will change and they will still be behind. Lire davantage

As a neighbour of the cement factory, I would like it on the record that I do not agree to allowing this company any exemptions or modifications to controlled emissions of toxic chemicals if it means more chemicals in my environment. I am strongly against Ash Grove proceeding with releasing harmful chemicals into the air as it is extremely harmful to humans. This can cause severe respitory problems in both adults and children and can worsen when exercising. Lire davantage

I am strongly opposed to increasing these emissions. We do not know what the long term impacts are on our health and this is a family oriented community.
