Having been a resident of Wasaga for 35 years and for the past 5 years in Clearview a half mile out of Wasaga I feel that it’s past time that this transition is finally here Lire davantage

Hands off our provincial parks. This land is for all Ontarians to enjoy, not to be sold off and developed for money.

I do not support separating any part of wasaga beech from the provincial park. This is a place that attracts people already to the area. If anything the town needs to renovate the existing downtown not the beech front.

Big hotel, expensive shops, subdivisions, damaging environment, polluting the water, putting a price on Ontario's longest beach. 🏕OUR PARKS NEED TO PRESERVE OUR LAKES! 🛶 memories of grad parties... 😎Wasaga Beach ⛱️ Our Great Lakes are in trouble already! GOVERNMENT ONLY CARES ABOUT THE $. Lire davantage

Our provincial parks are not for sale. They are a huge part of our culture and heritage and should be preserved for future generations. The land in question is also home to a large number of endangered species and species at risk.

Based on the decisions made by current council regarding land use at municipality owned lands at Beach 1 and 2, with little to no transparency, in camera meetings not open to the public for comments, I am totally opposed to this proposal to put even more environmentally sensitive public lands in the Lire davantage

It is always against the public interest to sell public land. If sold, it's lost to everyone who would enjoy the area, lost to the wildlife, the resources are lost, and the government is poorer over time. Lire davantage

I am strongly opposed to this. It harms the environment and the people who live in the area.

It is very sad to hear that financial gain is winning over environmental protection resulting in the loss of a significant part of a provincial park. As someone who regularly visits provincial parks, I think it's critical that those lands continue to be protected.

This is pure government corruption at its core! With Canada's population exploding and housing developments consuming precious lands across the country, the last few remaining public park spaces must be left untouched for an eternity. Lire davantage

This is got to be one of the worst plans yet of the Ford government. WASAGA BEACH IS NOT FOR SALE! It's for families, couples, children, friends and fun! Ours parks are what make Canada Canada. It's why people come here. Our country is stunning. Lire davantage

Public beach access is at a premium and should remain under the provincial Parks in order to both preserve access to present and future generations and to provide a buffer zone between the lake and the town. The 4 beaches provide valuable habitat for local wildlife. Lire davantage

As a permanent resident of Wasaga Beach, I am strongly against this proposal. I do not want our park land to be sold to developers. This risks the well being of the environment, including the wildlife that call these areas home. Lire davantage

Doug Ford, leave Wasaga Beach alone. Do not sell out another part of our province to your developer goons. We know you don’t care about nature unless it is within 100 m of your castle, I mean cottage. But we the people of Ontario do care. Lire davantage

This is absolutely disgraceful. In a time when extreme weather threatens all of us, any plan that removes critically important flood reduction (via currently protected sand dunes) is exactly what is wrong with conservative governing. Lire davantage

This is the conservatives once again using their titles to help the rich get richer. Environmental protection is there to protect. And this provincial government is destroying everything that made Ontario special to begin with.
