The current government is out of touch with the needs of our communities and with these changes they are seeking to destroy local environmental protections. Stop wasting time and resources with these proposed changes. Each region needs to manage their own area. Stop the over- reach.

I am against this proposed change. Local regions benefit from local knowledge and governance, especially with respect to the environment. This is a step backwards in supporting local-led initiatives.

This is not the way forward. Amalgamation of the conservation orgs is simply a way to exercise control and do things that are in the best interest of business and the premier, not the environment. Our ON Premier has clearly not shown that he doesn't care about the environment. DO NOT DO THIS.

I strongly disagree with the proposal of the Ford government to consolidate conservation areas. Conservation areas serve a purpose and have been doing that in their specific areas for decades. Consolidation isn’t necessary unless huge problems warrant the change. Lire davantage
