I do not support this proposal. We need to fully protect our species at risk and this should not interfered with! Please do not let this proposal go through.
This is unacceptable. We’ve already destroyed a lot of land that these animals rely on. It’s a circle of life and we need to correct them now before it’s too late. Please protect the endangered species. Do your part! I always try my best to be kind to Mother Earth.
I am against this proposal as it puts endangered species in danger unnecessarily. Conservation efforts are important to Ontarians and we do not want to see species threatened.
Fast-tracking projects is fundamentally harmful because it induces a shift in priority. It implies that the protections need to work FOR and IN FAVOR of the projects, when in fact is the project that must SUBMIT TO ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTIONS.

I am completely against these changes to the Endangered Species Act. This act specifically exists to prevent the unfettered dealings of business that can cause long-term damage to the environment, which is terrible not just for other life but for humans as well.

I am appalled that Ontario is considering this! Biodiversity is key to human survival and thriving. Not to mention the pleasures of seeing birds in nature and hearing their songs. Humans are only one species; we must not assume we have the right to remove others.
I wish to bring it to the attention of the government that the last time they tried this it was "less desperate" in appearance but equally disturbing with the "greenbelt scandal"

Focus on infilling and redeveloping abandoned spaces. You can rework existing development easier than replacing biodiversity.

While everyone wants economic opportunities, that cannot come at the expense of our natural sites and ecosystems which are fragile and need protecting. This is bigger then helping some big developer cronies make more money.
The government should NOT REPEAL the environmental protections acts but additionally should require consultation and approval with decisions that have environmental impact- they should Not have unilateral control on this issue
Ontario’s Endangered Species Act protects endangered or threatened species — animals and plants that are:
- facing imminent extinction or extirpation (extinction from a local area)
- in decline and in danger of disappearing from the province.

Repealing this bill is wrong and shouldn’t happen. We need to find ways to use unprotected lands rather than take away environmental protections. We need to work with and around crucial habitats to preserve our already dying ecosystem.
