Support Bill 60 as it’s needed. Been through a 6 months wait for LTB while trying to retrieve my own property. Then 1 year after the tenant moved, I had to attend a trial filed by my tenant who moved out 1 year ago which I was not notified in anyway by them. Lire davantage

After our review of Bill 60, and similar to comments presented on Bill 17, it seems clear that the Provincial Government aims to undermine or eliminate municipal government from planning for their own areas. Lire davantage

Harmonization of municipal road construction standards assumes all roads are created equal. Roads highly travelled by cars make sense to have specific standards. Roads that use high-order or frequent transit service (10 minutes or less frequency) also may need specific standards. Lire davantage

I am deeply concerned that Bill 60 threatens to strip away essential tenant protections and weaken Ontario’s housing justice system. I strongly recommend removing Schedule 12 that amends the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006. Lire davantage

Ontario has been a leader in road designs that include bicycle infrastructure and safer pedestrian infrastructure. Municipalities should be allowed to redesign the roads under their authority in accordance with the manuals the Province has published. Lire davantage

I am writing with concerns about issues in Bill 60. I have great concerns that the protections for tenants are being eroded and evictions will increase because of these changes. The wording in these changes are too broad. Lire davantage

This bill will increase homelessness and does nothing to fight the housing crisis. It is an attack on tenants at a time when we need more protections. Landlords are letting units sit empty to drive up costs. Lire davantage

I am writing to express my concerns regarding the restrictions on the installation of bike lanes. As a motorhead, there is nothing more enjoyable than taking a car on a drive on open roads. However, having to endure gridlock is the complete opposite. Lire davantage

This is absurd. It’s already shown that bike lanes reduce traffic, makes cyclists and pedestrians safer and the city greener. Toronto is finally going on the right way to become a better and more pleasant city to live in. Lire davantage
