I am very much against any part of Wasaga Beach being sold to the town. Doug Ford needs to keep his grubby paws off environmentally sensitive areas. Lire davantage

I strongly oppose the sale of any provincial properties, particularly Wasaga Beach Provincial Park. Transferring this public land to private or municipal ownership would cause irreversible harm to both the environment and public interest. Lire davantage

I recently visited Sauble Falls PP & Sauble/Saugeen Beach. The history of that area, especially the importance of the sand dunes, was very informative. Lire davantage

I am extremely concerned about the province’s proposal to sell part of Wasaga Beach Provincial Park. This is a dangerous over reach on the government’s part and only serves developers, not the people of Ontario. Lire davantage

Pour le bien commun, il faut protéger les pluviers siffleurs. Le gouvernement de l’Ontario doit veiller à la protection des Pluviers siffleurs en appliquant un plan de gestion basé sur des données scientifiques et des ressources qui : Lire davantage

Our provincial parks are important to give people access to recreational green spaces and the Great Lakes waterfront. I am opposed to removing land from Wasaga Beach PP for private development. It sets a bad precedent.

Wasaga Provincial Park- My family has deep ancestral ties with this area. We were among the first settlers and were personal friends of native chief Neywash back in the 1800s. We are strongly opposed to the sale of any portion of the park. Lire davantage

I grew up in Wasaga Beach (since 1988) and currently live nearby in Springwater Township. As a former resident, Wasaga Beach has lacked businesses that support year-round residents. Lire davantage

I implore you to retain the existing boundaries of the Provincial Park in Wasaga Beach. The Piping Plover needs this habitat. Too much of the shoreline in this province and this country is in private hands. Lire davantage

I dont agree with this and would like for the main location to be reevaluated. If we can leave the protected area and temporarily fence it off and develop next to it but not on it I will change my vote. Lire davantage

You shouldn’t have to live on the beach to enjoy it, be it physically being there or looking out your window and seeing it. Towns are charging non residents (tourists) even if they are an Ontario resident for parking, beach access etc. We are all contributing and should be able to enjoy time there. Lire davantage

Please don't sell off this land. The beaches and provincial parks are already so crowded and selling off beachfront land limits the amount of people that can continue to access this area affordably. Public beaches are important. Lire davantage

I have been going to Wasaga Beach since 1968 when you could drive your car on the beach before the Provincial Park took over. Since the town has completely botched the redevelopment of the core area for decades what makes you think that they will do differently this time. Keep the land as it is! Lire davantage

I do not approve with this proposal as it takes away from the natural habitats provided by Wasaga beach to at risk species. Provincial parks should not be developed for tourism as they serve physical and emotional services to citizens who seek nature. Lire davantage

Allowing provincial parks to be easier to develop on like Wasaga Beach, destroys one of Ontario’s most iconic natural spaces. At this point it isn’t just about a beach this is about protecting wildlife habitat and preserving a place that belongs to the public, not developers. Lire davantage
