As a resident of Thunder Bay it is insane to think our region's unique biodiversity and watershed could be controlled from Southern Ontario and amalgamated into the same conservation authority as Lake Huron.

The Sault Ste. Marie Region Conservation Authority's (SSMRCA) jurisdiction is locally focused, primarily encompassing the City of Sault Ste. Marie and the Township of Prince, covering specific watersheds that drain into the St. Marys River and Lake Superior.
