I am completely against this proposal. If these changes happen, many crucial ecosystems will be lost to development and housing, leading to environmental degradation and long term concerns that are irreversible.

This proposal is not in the best interest of the community. Conservation Authorities exist in their current configuration for a reason, and that is to address the needs of the local communities that are directly affected by the natural systems of their watershed.

Do not approve of this massive consolidation of conservation. No amalgamation I have seen ( GTA and Ottawa municipalities has gone well, services got lost, voices and concerns gone unheard in the rural areas. I do not think that we should be playing around with our beautiful natural resources.
