Merging all the conservation authorities is a disaster waiting to happen. Different ecosystems have different needs. Different jobs are needed in different areas. I’m guessing the goal is layoffs, and instilling your own reps who know nothing about the areas they are responsible for. Read more

Would rather keep the Hamilton Conservation Authority as one, distinct organization without amalgamating with other Conservation Authorities in order to preserve the welcome focus on local concerns and opportunities that may otherwise get missed in a larger Authority.
