This is an attack on Wasaga Beach and it should not be allowed. This isn't going to help the people in Ontario except Ford's donors!

Wasaga Beach Park is an environmental gem. Keep your grubby little hands off of such natural beauty, Mr. Ford and developer friends It's all about the money for you and your buddies. What about the common person who cannot afford to go to one of your expensive resorts.

I think the decision to transfer Nancy Island from the government to the town of Wasaga Beach is a shortsighted push for profit that completely neglects the environment in Ontario. Wasaga Beach Provincial Park is already a popular destination for tourism and there is no need to develop it further. Lire davantage

Re: Transfer of Land Title from Wasaga Beach Provincial Park to the Town of Wasaga Beach I am writing to suggest there may be a need for some caution in respect to legality in the transfer of the lands under discussion. Lire davantage

I think the the park land should continue to be apart of the provincial park and should not be ceded to the town of Wasaga

As a voting citizen of Ontario, I am wanting to use my voice to oppose the development of Wasaga Beach!! We do not need another tourist attraction, we need to protect the natural state of the beach and its inhabitants, such as the Piping Plover. Lire davantage

Piping plovers are an indicator species, and without them, the beaches will never be the same. By destroying their habitat to build tourism destinations, you are destroying the very foundation of why people are attracted to the area in the first place. Lire davantage

I am horrified that your government wants to reduce the area of Wasaga Beach Provincial Park and turn it over to developers!! As our human population in Ontario grows, we need to do even more to PRESERVE and PROTECT our parks, including species that otherwise would not be able to thrive. Lire davantage

I say no to these amendments. There is no need to sell off our nature to feed The Economy. This is just another example of Ford's lack of care for the land and people of Ontario, and his love of the almighty dollar. Save the piping plovers, save the park. Thank you. Lire davantage

Doesn't FORD realize no one trusts him anymore? Everything he does is under scutiny, especially since he loves to cut corners at the expense of our Canadian indigenous peoples, nature & the environment. Never voting for him every again! From a Lifelong conservative.

This land is a critical nesting ground for the Piping Plover, an endangered species that has only as recently as 2007 made a comeback to the area. Lire davantage

I oppose the sale of any part of Wasaga Provincial Park for re-development. These lands are home to the endangered Piper Plover. We must not lose any more endangered species, animal or bird. Extinction is forever. Lire davantage

The habitat and species protection that the provincial park offers this very special area is unmatched and COULD NEVER be met by the township. They do not have the speciality, the knowledge or the infrastructure. Lire davantage

We are long time residents of Wasaga and chose to be within walking distance of Beach 1 because we knew access to the beach and the rest of the park would be protected in perpetuity. Lire davantage

Hello. Ontario Provincial Parks are SACRED in this Province. No part of them is for sale - EVER. What's being proposed at Wasaga Beach is unconscionable. What's next? Bronte Creek Provinicial Park? I live in Oakville, and it's already surrounded by development now. Please do not do this. Lire davantage

I expect the government to protect our parks, watersheds and environment, not destroy it. We need a healthy environment to survive, literally; we are part of the nature you seek to pave over. Stop being so dangerously short-sighted. Lire davantage
