We could be a world class city, attracting business partners and investment. I think bike lanes and public transit support this opportunity. We need to be together and work together to create new opportunities. Cars are about individuals. They do not indicate team work. Lire davantage

My concern with this legislation is that it takes the power of Ontario's grass roots community organizations away. Lire davantage

I cycle to get to work. I have 2 children and we rely on bike lanes to travel safely around the city. I strongly oppose this bill for the following reasons: - It strips cities of local authority and decision-making, even when projects are supported by evidence and local residents. Lire davantage

This legislation as tamped is of grave concern to me and any resident of Toronto who is concerned with making this city a better place to live and work. It strips cities of local authority and decision-making, even when projects are supported by evidence and local residents. Lire davantage

I believe strongly that bike lanes and other interventions to encourage alternatives modes of transport over the car can reduce congestion and fight climate change. Lire davantage

This bill is harmful and void of any sense. It makes us all less safe, also it is waste of funds, that Ontario needs. Lire davantage

Once again I strongly oppose the Ford government’s plans for this province. With regards to Bill 60, my household is strongly opposed for the following reasons: It strips cities of local authority and decision-making, even when projects are supported by evidence and local residents. Lire davantage

Unbelievable. Another distraction from Ford (what else you trying to hide now?) and coming after bike lanes AGAIN which not only transport thousands of people around the city and provide a mode of exercise and wellness. They also heavily relied on by people who use mobility devices. Lire davantage

The bike lanes are how I navigate the city. They are currently needing improvements so as to allow safe passage from one end of the city to the other, and north and south. It is a family affair, a way to engage where a car can not. Lire davantage

Let municipal governments make municipal governance decisions. They are directly accountable to the affected residents, The province has plenty on its plate without usurping municipal responsibilities. Lire davantage

According to the government's own experts and consultants, Bill 60 will worsen congestion on our roads, it will make our roads more dangerous, and strips cities of local authority and decision-making. Lire davantage

Doug Ford and gang, please give it a rest. Bill 212 and now this? Bike lanes do not cause traffic congestion. Repeating it again and again and again through these silly bills doesn't make it true. We need a more connected bike lane so people can have alternative modes of transportation. Lire davantage

We need safe multimodal transportation including a complete transport system for bicyclists. Bicycling is a healthier transportation mode. Healthier, happier citizens build a better city than angry, impatient car drivers creating carbon emissions. Lire davantage

Bill 60 would take power away from people and their communities and give it to cars. It strips cities of local authority and decision-making, even when projects are supported by evidence and local residents. Lire davantage

As an about-to-become 80 year old living in the old city of Toronto I am still able to get around by using my e-assist bike. I am of course more careful of what routes I take, but that becomes harder when bicycle infrastructure is removed, refused or not connected. Lire davantage

I write today with great concern with Bill 60 and it's amendments to prohibit municipalities from reducing motor vehicle lanes when installing, implementing or marking new bicycle lanes as well as creating regulation-making authorities to allow the Minister to prescribe additional prohibited activit Lire davantage

Bike lanes are a vital step toward carbon reduction and a government should consider adding more lanes to reduce congestion and improve health of its citizens. Taking away that decision from individual communities is a power grab and undermining democracy yet again. Shame!
