I am a year-round cyclist and need safe, protected bike lanes to get to work. It is proven that stoplights at intersections, not bike lanes, are responsible for gridlock. Stop gaslighting us with the anti-bikelane legislative initiatives - you've already been defeated in court on this. Lire davantage

Another attempt to overreach and interfere with the city’s ability to run itself. I am completely against this bill, annoyed and frustrated that the premier and his team keep pushing for this. Lire davantage

Please make decisions based on evidence. This bill strips cities of local authority and decision-making, including projects supported by evidence and by local residents. Lire davantage

I've lived in Toronto since I was born but have also lived and visited other cities. When I was a child, I was forever stuck in a car, waiting for traffic to move. Lire davantage

This bill is detrimental to the wellbeing of pedestrians and cyclists. I was even doored by an Uber while cycling on a cycle path. If the presence of a cycle path is not enough to alert drivers of their responsibility, the removal will only increase accidents and fatalities. Lire davantage

I’m a PC voter. Very disappointed to see our government trying to introduce regressive legislation that will do very little to ease congestion.

Absolutely disgraceful behavior. Makes me ashamed to live here. I commute by bicycle for 2 hours everyday and its STILL faster than our terrible public transport system. Rather than build more bike infrastructure or improve the TTC, you want to jam the streets with MORE cars? Lire davantage

I think the provision to ban municipalities from reconfiguring their roads is very stupid. On what basis is the province suggesting this measure? What benefit does it provide? To ease congestion? Lire davantage

I’m writing from Hamilton to oppose the proposed bike lane and Highway Traffic Act changes in Bill 60. These amendments would take away the ability of cities to make evidence-based decisions about safer, more efficient streets. Lire davantage

The Ontario government lost in court with respect to bicycle lanes, the government is not above the law. There’s absolutely no way that you should impose Bill 60 to prevent cities from deciding on how they want their transportation in their cities to take place. Lire davantage

This Bill 60 is horrible for all citizens of Ontario and stand to pollute our environment, cause more grid lock, economic loss in the billions, and make life more painful for countless people: Bill 60 is bad for Ontario and must be STOPPED NOW!!

This is a terrible proposal for the following reasons: It strips cities of local authority and decision-making, even when projects are supported by evidence and local residents. Lire davantage

It's clear to anyone with a working brain that Bill 60 is a workaround to Premier Ford's loss in court over the validity of Bill 212's provision to ban bicycle lanes along Premier Ford's preferred route from his home to his Queen's Park office. Lire davantage

As a regular cyclist I am disappointed in this proposal. This will very much restrict the building of bicycle lanes, which is the only safe way to ride a bike in urban centres. Lire davantage

I live in the city and bike lanes are vital for transportation. Most modern cities have bike friendly lanes. I do not own a car and this will be a financial burden. Please consider this as a support to end this bill.

Bike lanes will save lives in a city like Toronto where the biking population has been steadily increasing since pandemic. It keeps the bikers out of harms way and also lessens liability of vehicular drivers. Lire davantage

It strips cities of local authority and decision-making, even when projects are supported by evidence and local residents. It will worsen traffic congestion, not reduce it. The government’s ownexperts have consistently said that bike lanes are not a cause of gridlock. Lire davantage
