The Government of Ontario should not be merging the existing Conservation Authorities into larger bodies. The Greenbelt has a very specific biodiversity and watershed that is very different than the surrounding areas that it will be amalgamated with. Lire davantage

This distrubutional focus is far too large to deal with and be properly managed The lake Erie and Huron aread are far to large! I believe a merging of some CA's makes sense but using your current desing will do more harm to the environment as may things will fall through the cracks or be missed!

I disagree with the consolidation of the conservation authorities. This seems to be a short-sighted attempt to consolidate power to the Province. I think that local planning is the best way to maintain knowledge and understanding and ensure that unique municipal characters can exist. Lire davantage
