The proposed boundaries for the regional consolidation of Ontario’s conservation authorities is an utterly disgraceful attempt to destroy more of the environment and make it more difficult to protect the land, people and planet. This bill must be repealed immediately.

It is true there is a wide variation in technical capacity at CA's that can sometimes impede sound decision making but this only because the province has substantively under funded the CA's for more than 25 years when the pulled a shared funding mode with municipalities.

We love the lakehead conservation authority! It does alot of good in our community and it is very important to have northern representation in this area. We traveled today from Thunder Bay to Southern Ontario and watched the landscape change.

Dear All
Only recently did I learn about the project of the amalgamation of the Regional Conservation Authorities. I read the Supplement Document, looked at the maps and now I am convinced that this is not a good idea.

I think they should remain the same. This way each area has more control over their area. I have seen too often when there is a massive take over the larger areas get what they want and forget the little guy. Hopefully each area can talk with each other if needed
