I urge the government to NOT merge the Lakehead Regional Conseevatijn Authority with the Huron-Superior authority. We in the Lakehead area are too far from the purposed offices of the merged authority. This would could lead to our area not being cared for as well or as quickly as it should. Lire davantage

The new proposal for massive Conservation Areas is absurd. How can a Conservation Area that covers 81 municipalities possibly be effective. But, I suspect that is in fact the plan, isn't it? Please reconsider this idea.

I am not in favour of all conservation authorities amalgamating. As this will create extra and unnecessary pressure on all staff. The Provincial Government needs to take into consideration their lack of understanding of the conservation authorities roles and positions.

I do not support the proposed amalgamation of conservation authorities, the conservation authorities provide vital services and information to their local watersheds. Centralizing these services will result in a reduction of services for local landowners and potential loss of local knowledge.
