This bill is incredibly detrimental and disregards the health, well-being, and safety of cyclists in Ontario. The government has a duty to protect the physical safety of its people, and the Government of Ontario, under the direction of Doug Ford, is neglecting its lawful duty. Lire davantage

Bikes lanes save lives and make our cities better and more accessible. By denying cities the ability to make evidence based decisions to improve active movement in the cities, you are making Ontario a worse place. Lire davantage

Let city councils make decisions regarding municipal road-use. If we are unhappy with what they do, we will vote them out of office. The Government of Ontario is overstepping with this proposed legislation, and we may just vote you out of office in 2029.

As both a daily ttc user and cyclist at Toronto; as well as someone who works in infrastructure design; cycle lanes help reduce traffic and more importantly saves lives. No. Lire davantage

Sadly, governing bodies only see as far as the next election. Our beautiful cities and towns are slowly being choked, and will ultimately be strangled, by too many cars and other vehicles. Why not mitigate this scenario by improving public transport and cycling infrastructure? Lire davantage

Bill 60 will severely impact my city's ability to convert underutilized car lanes in the downtown corp and implement safer cycling facilities. It is preventing city's from making proper analysis and judgement of how to best adjust road infrastructure to best support it's citizens. Lire davantage

I strongly object to the proposed legislation to prohibit reducing vehicle lanes in order to put in bicycle lanes. Vehicles already use the vast majority of road space. Lire davantage

This is again a bill blobling many changes together to create confusion and reduce the ability to focus the conversation. It goes against best practices without citing any studies, and is vague in many respects. Lire davantage

I am a pedestrian, non-driver, and city cyclist - I only cycle in Toronto because we have bike lanes given that I live at Bloor Street and Parkside Drive where drivers constantly speed. I also encounter aggressive drivers and speeding throughout the city. Please rescind Bill 60 immediately. Lire davantage
