This is a stupid bill that will bottleneck development in Ontario for years to come - until it is inevitably repealed by some future government likely even a conservative one. This should be obvious to anybody at first glance. Lire davantage

As someone who cycles to work along Yonge Street every day, Bill 60 terrifies me. It strips cities of local authority and decision-making, even when projects are supported by evidence and local residents. It will worsen traffic congestion, not reduce it. Lire davantage

The most beautiful project this City has completed are the bike lanes on Harbord Street. I want to live in a city that has safer roads that are made for people, not automobiles.

As a local homeowner, regular cyclist and driver, I am entirely against this bill for the following reasons: - It strips cities of local authority and decision-making, even when projects are supported by evidence and local residents. Lire davantage

I live in Toronto, next to a busy bike lane route. I have been a cyclist for over 30 years in various cities across Canada and the world. I know from experience, and because research proves it, that bike lanes save lives. Lire davantage

This is an overstepping of municipal authority. Cities must have the power to design their own streets, and cars are not the solution to creating streetscapes that meet our climate goals and provide healthy lives for people. Lire davantage

Hello, I am a 69 year old cyclist, I have been cycling in Toronto since 1994. I love it! I believe that protected cycle lanes encourage more people to cycle and not drive. It's also better for our environment, and safer for cyclists. Lire davantage

I would like to express my opposition to Bill 60, the Fighting Delays, Building Faster Act. This bill would strip cities and towns of the ability to make locally informed decisions about how their streets are designed and used. Lire davantage

This proposal is undemocratic and unjust, stripping cities of the ability to make decisions they are best placed to make and local residents of the right to have a say in our community infrastructure. Lire davantage

Mr. Ford seems to forget he is NOT the mayor of Toronto (nor the Prime Minister of Canada). He is the Premier of Ontario and he needs to STAY IN HIS LANE. Cities and municipalities can and should decide what is best for cities and municipalities, WITHOUT interference from the province. Lire davantage

This legislation ignores the fact that bicycles and the like are also modes of transport. Their use clicks all the right boxes when it comes to sustainable, as well as pollution and carbon-free mobility. Lire davantage

I strongly oppose Bill 60. This legislation strips municipalities of their ability to make local decisions about their own streets, even when those decisions are supported by data and community input. Lire davantage
